I really relate to resentful perfectionism, as well as the ping-ponging between, “ACCEPT ME,” and, “STOP TRYING TO HELP ME.”
I love a defensive character. “YOU’RE NOT BETTER THAN ME. STOP BUYING ME LOTION.”
I accept this description.

Scarlet lives on a farm in France with her grandmother. She has curly red hair and lots of freckles and is mostly seen wearing jeans and a red sweatshirt. She is frank and abrupt, with a tendency to act first and think later. She is cautious of newcomers and takes a while to warm up to them and trust them.

Demographically, I fit none of these descriptions…except the clothes one.
Even then, I don’t wear red. Ever.
The rest of it is shockingly accurate.
I had my doubts when I got Scarlet, but it is real.
- Frank and abrupt: READ THIS BLOG and you shall see
- Tendency to act first and think later: really depends. I am quite impatient and I hate to discuss things for too long.
- Cautious of newcomers: I am convinced any and every newcomer to my environment is a spy.
- Takes a while to warm up and trust people: HAHAHAHA yes. Trust must be earned. I expect the very worst until proved otherwise.
This is super gratifying because Scarlet is my favorite character.
Phew.
