Knights of the Round Tag
How far will I go to avoid working on my WIP?
Well, Cori McCarthy tweeted a fan-created video book tag inspired by their book.
As you might recall, McCarthy and their fiancee Amy Rose Capetta wrote a genderbent Arthurian space book that none of you liked but I enjoyed.

I had to do the tag, obviously, even though I only wrote 600 words for NaNo yesterday.
Worry not – I have a Pasta Feast + Catch-up Writing Marathon scheduled tomorrow.
This is my life now. Continue reading “Knights of the Round Tag”
Christmas Cookie Book Tag

TOP TEN TUESDAY: Changes in My Reading Life
I’m back for Top Ten Tuesday with some wistful nostalgia.
Things aren’t the way they used to be.
I mean, obviously.
That is how time works. Continue reading “TOP TEN TUESDAY: Changes in My Reading Life”
Mala Santa Book Tag
Before this tag, I had never heard of Becky G.
According to my research, she’s a 22-year-old Latin singer/songwriter who started out doing covers on YouTube.
Leelynn created this original tag + graphics using Becky G’s brand-new LP. (She is the true Queen of Tags.)
Music, graphics, and books?
What a find!
Now let me see how many times I can mention The Raven Cycle in this post! Continue reading “Mala Santa Book Tag”
The Ultimate Recommendations Book Tag
Book recommendations?
Yes, please.
(I needed a distraction from Call Down the Hawk and Kristin provided one.)
(Thank you, Kristin. CDTH is stressing me out.)
(Also, I agreed to write a novel this month? I don’t want to talk about it.) Continue reading “The Ultimate Recommendations Book Tag”
NaNoWriMo 2019: The Great Train Write-in and Powell’s Book Haul
I haven’t gotten up before 5:00 AM since I worked opening shift at a cafe.
Today, I urged my aging body out of bed at 4:30 AM to board a train full of strangers.
We commiserated over coffee, talked about books, got really deep into pagan mysticism, and wrote a ton of words.
It was my first ever Great Train Write-in and I had a blast. Continue reading “NaNoWriMo 2019: The Great Train Write-in and Powell’s Book Haul”
