Feel. That. Love.
No one tagged me for this. I’m just here, Valentining around.
I found this tag on Kristin Kraves Books.

What book(s) have you been given as a gift that you loved?
I got DC Bombshells for my 26th birthday.
I was flipping through it yesterday for artistic inspiration, and wow.
I forgot how much I love the artwork and the characters.
My coworker and I just saw Birds of Prey, so I’m feeling extra generous toward DC comics.
There have been some great female-focused comics in the last decade and I’m all for it.
What book(s) would you like to give as a gift to someone else?
I’d love to give Deerskin and Blood Water Paint to all the womxn in my life.
Actually, I’d like to give these books to everyone I know.
Not only are they gorgeously written, they’re really effective at stimulating empathy for survivors.
I want every person alive to read these books or something spiritually similar.
If you could gift a random person any bookish item, what would it be?
I LOOOOVE getting stuff in the mail and I really enjoy subscription boxes.
I got the chance to purchase a Call Down the Hawk box from Owlcrate.
It arrived the night I saw The Rise of Skywalker. I came home, opened my box, and cried. It completely made up for my disappointment in that movie.
There are tons of subscription boxes out there – I would want to surprise someone with the perfect book box.
If you could gift a random person any non-bookish item, what would it be?
I bought the most amazing-smelling lotion for my mom for Christmas and I ALMOST KEPT IT FOR MYSELF.
I looked for it just now and it appears to be OUT OF STOCK??
Listen: if you ever have the chance to buy lavender vanilla body butter from AubreyESoaps, DO IT IMMEDIATELY.
Or I’ll buy it for you, per the prompt.
What do you say when a person gives you a gift you don’t like?
“It’s an avocado! Thanks…”
(I actually love avocados. I would not mind if you got me a lil ‘cado.)
Mention a book based around Valentine’s Day.
I just found this delightful tome titled The Valentine’s Day Murder.
Sounds fun!
