THE CHRISTMAS LIGHTS ARE UP DOWNTOWN.
HOW IS IT THE END OF THE YEAR? I AM TRYING TO WRITE A NOVEL.
I DON’T HAVE TIME FOR CHRISTMAS SHOPPING, SEATTLE. LEAVE ME ALONE.
To make peace with the end of the year, I grabbed this tag from Elli’s blog.
*sigh* I have so many books to read…
Are there any books you started this year that you need to finish?
SO MANY.
I’m in the middle of four books on feminism: Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl, Eloquent Rage, Revenge of the She-Punks, and Handbook for a Post-Roe America.
I gotta finish them.
I don’t want to start 2020 behind on books.
Do you have an autumnal book to transition into the end of the year?
Haha.
Hahahahahahaha.
ARE YOU KIDDING?
HOW MANY TIMES???
It’s The Scorpio Races.
I gotta finish it before Libra season.
Is there a new release you’re still waiting for?
Again, SO MANY.
Here’s one I just found out about:
The Sound of Stars by Alechia Dow is APPARENTLY a sci-fi novel with a demisexual romance?
Whaaaaaaaaaat?
This is my dream.
THE COVER LOOKS LIKE A SAILOR MOON NOVEL.
Please don’t tell my there’s eye stuff in it.
What are 3 books you want to read before the end of the year?
I’ve made pretty good progress on my Fall TBR.
However, I would still like to read The Bone Witch and Bitterblue before the year ends.
Also, I’m teaming up with Jenna and another blogger for Daughter of the Pirate King in December, so I HAVE to read that one.
Is there a book you think could still shock you and become your favourite book of the year?
I have high hopes for UNpregnant.
I feel like it has such potential.
I bet it’ll have its own special display at Powell’s.
I’m ready.
Moar pink books.
Have you already started making reading plans for 2020?
Y’all, I can’t.
I’m just trying to survive November.
Also, I’ve got a brand-new 500-page monstrosity out from my favorite author and I’m barely 40 pages in. I’ve gotta focus.
Woof.
Why is the prospect of a new year so STRESSFUL?
Is it the election?
Is it NaNoWriMo?
If you can tell me the answer – or even if you can’t – I tag you.
Great answers 🙂
